Lee has over 25 years of experience advising on corporate, commercial and M&A matters. Lee is passionate about helping business leaders and owners grow their business and achieve their goals by providing practical solutions and advice leveraging his mixed legal and P&L leadership experience.
Lee brings a results-oriented approach to his practice, having held legal and business leadership roles in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Most recently, Lee led the legal team supporting sales, operations and strategic transactions and managed the compliance organization for ADT Inc. (NYSE: ADT). In that role, he structured, negotiated, and executed dozens of acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures to help grow ADT’s customer base, introduce new products and technology, build new business segments and enter new markets. While ADT was a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management, Lee led the legal team that helped build ADT Commercial, which ADT sold to funds managed by GTCR for $1.6 billion in 2023. Lee also led ADT’s legal team executing its spin-out from Tyco International in 2012 and ADT’s IPO and NYSE listing in 2018. His earlier roles at ADT included P&L leadership for the company’s Canadian operations where he led the development and implementation of programs that significantly reduced customer churn, improved profit margins and increased gross sales. Prior to going in-house, Lee practiced law with multinational law firms in Toronto, Canada and Silicon Valley, California focusing on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, technology startups and corporate finance.

- Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and corporate finance transactions of varying sizes;
- Commercial matters including technology licensing and development, procurement and supply arrangements and service contracts;
- Consumer matters including sales, marketing and distribution arrangements; and
- Corporate organizational and compliance matters including formation, governance and policy development and implementation.
